Ingredients
- 5 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pack frozen chopped spinach
- 1 chopped onion
- chopped ham
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180° C. Lightly grease a 9 or 10 inch pie pan.
- Heat olive oil in medium-high heat and sautée onions until they turn soft. Add spinach and cook, stirring occasionally, until excess moisture has evaporated.
- In a separate container, whisk eggs, milk, cheese, ham, salt and pepper. Add the spinach mixture and stir to combine.
- Spoon mixture into prepared pie pan and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the eggs have set.
- Remove from oven and allow quiche to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
